It’s easy:
The PGA nonsense worries about ALL the LIV golfers (there are only 58-60), only maybe a dozen have won on the PGA tour.
Let those play in the major and signature events. The rest have to play other venues and win to get onto PGA tour. Korn Ferry, DP world tour, Asian Tour.
Why? Because there already is a method in place in the pga to have only the top players play.
This field can change and vary year after year.
Witness this example:
Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, and Keith Mitchell all fell excruciatingly short of cracking the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings following the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Finishing at 51st (Mitchell), 52nd (Spieth), and 53rd (Homa), the star trio missed out on advancing to the BMW Championship and failed to secure guaranteed entries into next season’s lucrative Signature Events. While Sungjae Im surged inside the bubble and Matt McCarty claimed the final 50th spot, late Sunday missteps left all three big-name players on the outside looking in.
